Faith is obtained by letting go of everything and grabbing hold of One. If your focus is on anything but One, you will very quickly start to sink in the depths of all the circumstances of life. Jesus Christ is the One. He is the only way, the only Truth, and the only Life. He has rescued me countless times, and I am still being rescued on a regular basis. His love is ever-believing, ever-hoping, and always enduring. No matter what has happened, His love is like glue that can hold every part together, even when it seems that it is no longer recognizable. If you surrender to Him, the One, His promise is to never leave you alone, to walk with you, sometimes carry you, and always see you.
